Family Members Need Support Too

Substance use disorder is a family disease.  When your loved one has a problem with substance use, it affects every member of the family as they try to protect their loved one but are unsure of how to help.

At NKRC, we encourage you to be part of your family member’s addiction treatment and recovery process.  Our family recovery support programs for family members and loved ones will encourage you to discuss the impact that addiction has on your life and others.

The team of experts at Neil Kennedy will also assist families with finding support groups such as Al-anon and Nar-anon. These groups can help family members learn to take care of themselves while also being a vital part of the recovery process for their loved one.

Patients in recovery can benefit from a healthy family as they work on overcoming their addiction and participate in family recovery support programs.
